Deepti Menon, an Indian American artist from Northern California, has always been fascinated by the possibility of alien life. Often thinking about conspiracy theories and interplanetary warfare, Deepti is drawn to themes of fear and anxiety, usually finding inspiration from her own set of fears. Her work is often colorful, character driven, and light hearted. In her free time, she enjoys making postcards and contemplating the pros and cons of being abducted.
Deepti graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Film/Animation/Video. She mostly works with 2D and stop-motion animation, but loves illustrating, printmaking, clay, and experimenting with new media! She currently resides in New York and loves getting emails (see below)!
